"This will sound very strange, I am sure, but the shoes I purchased were for an old walking doll that I had as a child in the early '50s. She is 30" tall and was rather tattered, so I had her restrung and had a new wig put on her. The problem was her clothes. She's too large for doll clothes and too small for toddler clothes. The so-called "infant wear" looks too much like a "baby" and she's supposed to look like a little "girl." Shoes were especially difficult to find in stores because the smaller the size, the more like "booties" the shoes looked. These shoes were perfect for her! I bought every style I thought she could use. I've had to purchase "designer" clothes for her, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, because they seem to be the only manufacturers that sell clothing in 3 month sizes that look like "little people" clothes instead of baby clothes.
